Everything, the place was in the middle of renovating and really should have stayed closed until they were ready to open.

The room was clean and well-maintained with a nice bed. The presence of a sink, soap, shampoo, and towels was convenient. Although it was a bit hot during my stay in September, the fan provided some relief. The location was good, with easy access to public transportation via the trolley.
Felt like being home, no reason to complain.

The rooms are pretty good for the prices.
The Hotel is actually in renovation, a bit dirty outside the rooms in the corridors.

Was woken up at 3am thanks to shouting from another guest. Wifi was intermittent. The area is far from most tourist attractions and is not safe to walk alone at night. Shower and toilet facilities very poor.

I recently stayed at a budget-friendly hotel in a vibrant neighborhood. The staff was friendly and the location was centrally located near public transportation and plenty of options for dining and nightlife. The showers were hot and the staff was helpful. Additionally, the hotel served as a convenient meeting point for ride-sharing services. it was a good place to stay for those on a budget looking for a decent place to sleep.
I recommend this hotel.

Absolutely nothing and they had no record of my reservation and refused to let me check in until I faxed them the confirm from Booked.net.
The worst part was the staff. They were beyond rude. That hotel just needs to be shut down.

The first night the booking we had reserved was not available and after arguing for an hour management made us pay extra for a different room than what we had booked!! That same night the fire alarm went off, and management silenced it! The firefighters who came to put out the fire yelled at the guy at the desk for silencing the alarm. The second night police officers yelled "Police!" and were knocking on someone's door down the call. Our room was close to the front desk that night and I could hear everything, including some other guy arguing with mgmt until 3AM! There were small blood stains all over my sheets the first night... bedbugs!? Didn't see any bugs but the sheets were gross. Shower curtain in one of the bathrooms was moldy.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with a clean room and reliable wifi. The location was convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay at this budget-friendly hotel.
The morning meal could have been better with more variety and options available.

Good value for money, nice location (I love the Mission District and it´s near the nice Dolores Park).
The staff here seems that they don´t want me here. Their English is poor, and they seem bothered if I ask for help or have som questions. There are very noisy people in other rooms. You should only stay on this "hotel" if you have a low traveling budget or want to stay in a central place in The Mission District.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for my money at this hotel. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave, which was convenient. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Mission, and the staff treated me with courtesy and friendliness.
The breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe offering a wider variety of options.

A very good price. My room was clean and no bug beds were to be reported. The wi-fi and the heater worked. There is a washbasin in the room. The Hotel is in the core of the Mission District, the latino part of San Francisco. There was always somebody at the desk, even late at night.
The Hotel is old and and the common parts are not quite clean. The walls are thin and not very soundproof. You have to share the old common batheroom with half of the rooms at the same level..

Nothing. This place is run down and really not as portrayed on the internet.
This is not an hotel. It is more a backpackers dorm than anything else. The room was clean but the place was riddled with "bed bugs". My keys did not work and I was unable to unlock the front door. I did not even sleep in the bed but ontop of it. The bath was dirty en and the paint was peeling off in the bath. The "Free WiFi" was useless and kept droppimh connection. I would recommend San Francisco to other travelers but to not stay al El Capitan.
